We'll discuss each system as we encounter them in the game. So we will generally go in a specific order.

Part 2 – An In depth look into Stats and Attributes

I am going to explain this before we continue to create a hero. It is important to know what each stat does before you create a hero. Creating a hero in the right way will make the difference between a balanced and powerful hero or a weak hero.

Basic Attributes

  • Morale
    • Morale is basically your hit points. If all of your Morale is taken away you will be defeated in battle.
  • Power
    • Power is basically your mana. You use your power for your abilities and spells. If you run out of power you will be unable to use your special abilities or spells.
  • Armor
    • Armor determines how much damage you receive in a fight. The more Armor you have the better.

Secondary Attributes

  • Might
    • Might Allows you to deal more damage with weapons.
    • Might Allows you to block and parry attacks.
      • The more might you have the more you will block or parry attacks.
        • The increased blocking effect only works with shields. If you do not have a shield equipped, the increased might will not help you block.
  • Agility
    • Agility allows you to evade incoming attacks.
    • Agility allows you to parry incoming attacks.
    • Agility increases bow damage.
  • Vitality
    • Vitality increases overall Morale.
    • Vitality increases out-of-combat morale regeneration.
    • Vitality increases resistance to poison and disease.
    • Vitality reduces incoming shadow and fire type damages.
  • Will
    • Will increase out-of-combat power regeneration.
    • Will increases overall power.
    • Will increases resistance to fear effects.
  • Fate
    • Fate increase in-combat Morale AND Power regeneration.
    • Fate increases the chance of critical blows from tactical skills.
    • Fate increases damage of critical blows from tactical skills.
      • Tactical skills are things like traps (that the hunter uses) and various other things.

Various other Attributes

  • Melee Eff, Ranged Eff

    • The efficiency of the respective type of skill.
    • The higher the efficiency the better damage you create from that skill.
  • Melee Crit, Ranged Crit, Tactical Crit

    • These are percentages of how often you will score critical blows on your character.
  • Block, Evade, Parry

    • These are percentages of how often you will block, evade or parry in a battle.
  • Fire, Common, Shadow, Fear, Wound, Disease, Poison
    • These are all damage types.

A higher value shows your resistance to these types of damage.

That concludes the in depth look into the attributes and stats of your the game. I hope this introduction was helpful to you. I suggest you proceed to the next guide with more information on races, and classes before you create your character.
